About our choir!
We are a mixed voice choir - Sopranos, Altos, Tenors and Basses - almost 40 strong, based in the village of Longridge in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire.
We are non-profit and hold several concerts each year in the Ribble Valley and beyond to raise money for local charities.
Our repertoire covers everything from pop songs to musicals, classical pieces and hymns
Audio practice tracks are provided to members for our music
Whether you're classically trained or have never sung before, you're welcome to join us!
1 - Our Musicians and Music
Our Musical Director is Chris Hyde. He is a Graduate of the Royal Northern College of music; a qualified Singing Teacher, Composer and Music Arranger.Our accompanist John Gray is also a Music Graduate (Huddersfield Univ) and an accomplished player of piano and church organ.
Each member pays £15 per month to cover costs including music and venues.
